NoteMinder
One area of frustration in many clinics is the ability to accurately communicate within the office and between the office and the patients about pertinent information.
NoteMinder is feature designed to circumvent this issue by facilitating the entry of various messages by individual password. In addition, the message may be forwarded to a particular password. It is not intended to be an E-mail substitute, but an imbedded and useful tool that is accessible within the operation of PracticeStudio.
Maturity Dates
Associated with each of the messages is a "maturity" date and time. When the message (event) matures, then a message will be displayed on the appropriate work station (wherever the "To" password is logged in), regarding the event. At maturation, the receiving user may elect to forward the message to another time or to "close" the event.
Categories
The messages may also be categorized by group and by subject. For example, one group of messages may be "Insurance" and another "Patient". A NoteMinder report may be printed showing related groups or subjects.
Sources
Each message may be "attached" to different sources. The source may be selected from patient accounts, insurance carriers, or outside referrals (i.e. attorneys, referring doctor, etc.)
