Statistics

Practice Statistics provides seven standard statistical reports, many of which may be represented in graphical form. These reports help in the analyzation of the financial performance within the clinic.

Template Design: Many of the reports use a "template" design that permits grouping of financial information according to CPT code, CPT group (i.e. office visits), or payment types. The patient financial class may also be included for grouping of the statistical information.

Attorney Analysis: Financial data is summarized by transaction type, attorney, and the treating doctor. All detail is summarized on a monthly basis for a total of a 12 month period. Grand Totals reflect all months. This report is especially useful for reviewing the financial aspects of attorney case referrals.

Average Analysis: Based on template criteria, transactions are accumulated by treating doctor. Usage, amounts, and the average amount per usage are calculated for each line item. A recap is given by transaction type and treating doctor.

Cash Flow Analysis: This report will estimate the clinic cash receipts within a given period of time. Several assumptions are used when analyzing the patient accounts. Each patient’s payment history for patient portion amounts is analyzed and an average "days to pay" is calculated.

Each carrier is also analyzed with derivation of the average "days to pay" for the carrier based on all patients associated with the carrier.

All reviewed financial data is based on a runtime selectable "analyzation" date range. This allows for the most recent payment history to be used when computing average days to pay. In a typical print scenario, columns will be printed that show the cash flow expectation in the next 14 days, 15 to 30 days, and over 30 days.

Patient Group Analysis: All financial data is grouped and totaled by transaction type, patient group, and treating doctor. This report helps analyze the makeup of the patients by doctor (i.e. cash, group, Medicare, etc.)

Patient Referral Log: The Referral Log shows the count and percentage of referral sources in a date range, grouping the sources by month, by treating doctor. The results are either printed or displayed to a graph. This report helps analyze patient referral sources and advertising effectiveness.

Practice Statistics: This report is designed to count transaction types by month for a selected date range. Using a template to designate CPT selection or groups, a recap of all types is made for dollar amounts by treating doctor.

Statistical Recap Report: The Statistical Recap Report is segregated into three "time period" columns where the usage and amounts for each procedure are summarized. This report is also accumulated and totaled by treating doctor. Typical date ranges may be the last month, the last quarter, and the last year.
