2014 Edition Certification by Drummond Group

MicroFour's PracticeStudioX16 has received the federal government's "meaningful use" stamp of approval by earning Ambulatory Complete EHR Certification*. The designation officially deems PracticeStudio capable of enabling providers to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Tested and certified under the Drummond Group, an ONC-Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB), the EHR software is 2014 edition compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. 2014 edition certified products allow providers to meet either Stage 1 or Stage 2 of Meaningful Use, depending on the provider’s year of participation the Medicare or Medicaid Incentive program.

PQRS

PQRS Compliant

PracticeStudioX16 is capable of tracking and reporting the very latest PQRS quality measure requirements. Quality measure reporting requires that a software product have the capability to track data pertaining to a specific set of health-related criteria determined by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Participation in PQRS has been voluntary in previous years, but beginning in 2015, Medicare providers will be subject to payment adjustments (penalties) for non-participation.
